Steve Leslie has been teaching professionally since 1983. He began his study of guitar at the age of 7. By the time he was 15, he was passing on his knowledge of the instrument to his own students and had started performing in small clubs in the St. Louis and St. Charles regions.
Several bands later, Steve was accepted to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston.
After graduating with a BS in Professional Music, Steve and his band relocated to New Jersey and began showcasing their talents to record labels and management companies.
Steve continued to perform with a multitude of talented East Coast musicians, opening for national acts such as:
Blue Oyster Cult, White Lion, Jason Aldean, Joe Nichols, Cheap Trick, Night Ranger, Wynona, Rick Derringer, RTZ (featuring Brad Delp of BOSTON) and Ace Frehley of KISS. S teve has performed and recorded with artist such as: TM Stevens, ( Joe Cocker,The Pretenders), Bernie Worrell (P-Funk), Stephanie Eulinberg (Kid Rock), Will Calhoun (Living Color), Al Pitrelli (Alice Cooper, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and many other talented musicians that have taught him so much.
Currently, Steve Leslie is recording material for his third CD. Songs from the first two discs, MAKE TIME and CORE, can be found on iTunes as well as CD Baby.com.
